We have 3-D printed this initial set of facemask ear guards, which have been donated to Lourdes Hospital in Camden, NJ. We are currently printing more of these guards, and will soon be printing face shield frames. Thank you front line healthcare providers – we are proud to serve you!

Upgrade! We’ve added a Haas Mini Mill 2 to our Prototype Integration Facility’s arsenal and our engineers and machinist are super excited about it! Used for prototyping and small run productions, this full 5 axis CNC will expand our PIF tooling capabilities and allow for true 720 degree milling.

PLI Enters Manufacturing Licensing Agreement with Pratt & Whitney for Components on TF33

Congratulations to the Parts Life, Inc. team for entering a licensing agreement with Pratt & Whitney to manufacture components for the TF33 engine. The TF33 is the engine that powers the B-52 strategic bomber which remains a critical system in the defense of our nation. Parts Life continues to narrow the strategic gap that exists between sustaining legacy systems (like the 60 year old B-52) and the introduction of new systems, through its people, process & products.

Parts Life, Inc. Wins 16 Contracts with Tinker Air Force Base Propulsion Directorate for TF33 Engine

Over the last several weeks the Parts Life, Inc. team has been working hard on proposals for Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma's Propulsion Pitch Day!

The Air Force initiative was to rapidly provide manufacturing solutions for TF33 engine parts challenges with the intent of obtaining prototype production packages that will provide innovative manufacturing part solutions to fulfill requirements or close capability gaps. In order to participate in this invite-only event, companies were required to submit pitch decks and prototype production package.

President and CEO Sam Thevanayagam was asked to speak with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) on how Parts Life, Inc. helped solved diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages (DMSMS) and obsolescence issues in the strategic gap using innovative processes in reverse engineering and 3D printing for the nuclear enterprise.

PLI Recognized for Supply Chain Improvement by DLA at DMC 2019

We’re proud to announce that Parts Life, Inc. was recognized for Supply Chain Improvement by the Defense Logistics Agency at the Defense Manufacturing Conference In Phoenix, AZ for reverse engineering and reproducing non-metallic RAM fin seals for the Air Launch Cruise Missle. Using our innovative obsolescence and DMSMS program solution; 5R we were able to close the strategic gap to ensure mission readiness. The customer was not able to solve this for over 4 years due to lack of involvement from the OEM. Congratulations to Denise Price and the entire DLA team for their dedication and hard work!
