Cigars For Warriors Event

Press Release

October 7th, 2013

On October 2nd, Parts Life, Inc. had the opportunity to host an event in support of Operation Cigars For Warriors (CFW). A strong turnout of military personel, family, friends, and veterans gathered at Main Street Cigars in Medford, NJ to bring awareness to this cause. Cigars For Warriors Representative Peter Totaro also attended the event. The succesful night featured great food and good company. As a team, Parts Life inc. was able to match up to $1,000 in donations. With that, over 500 cigars were purchased and donated to CFW. CFW Founder Ben Edmundson commented:

“On behalf of all members and Recipients of Operation: Cigars For Warriors, we would like to extend our sincerest appreciation to you for your support and dedication to our cause. Without your assistance, none of this would be possible.”

About Cigars For Warriors: CFW’s top priority is collecting, then giving premium cigars and accessories to troops serving in combat zones. CFW’s second priority is filling requests from military personnel on ships, in foreign duty stations, and non-combat zones. It is their way to honor, show respect and thank those who put their lives on the line for us. CFW has received requests from many soldiers who have no one here in the U.S. to send care packages to them, and would otherwise receive nothing. The mission that CFW has taken up is one of great importance as we know that some of these well-deserving men and women would not be able to enjoy moments of reassurance and relaxation without the generosity of sponsors and individual donors. CFW needs cigars, cutters, lighters, water pillows, travel humidors etc. They are also working continuously to fill the requests and would like to thank everyone for their support and donations.

A Basket to collect cigars and raise awareness of CFW prior to the event as set up at Main Street Cigars in Medford NJ.
