Sam Thevanayagam Keynote Speaker at RCBC Celebration of Diversity and Culture

In recognition of Black History Month, President and CEO Sam Thevanayagam was the Keynote Speaker at Rowan College at Burlington County during their Celebration of Diversity and Culture event. Sam had the opportunity to speak to the students, faculty, and staff on the topics of resiliency and resolve. Having moved from Sri Lanka to the US at the age of 22, Sam faced challenges over the years that ultimately led to the development of his multimillion dollar organization, Parts Life, Inc.

STEM Initiative: Parts Life, Inc. Sponsors Inner City Circuits Robotics Team

For the second year in a row, Parts Life, Inc. has sponsored the Inner City Circuits robotics team as they competed in the Deep-South competition at North Burlington County Middle School. As part of the Parts Life, Inc. STEM initiative, the organization supports the Inner City Circuits in an effort to encourage students to develop their skills in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math).

Visitation Homes: Parts Life, Inc. Gives Back

For the second year in a row, Parts Life, Inc. has partnered with Visitation Homes in Philadelphia as a way to give back to the community! Each team member was given the opportunity to buy Christmas gifts, and the company provided a meal, and groceries for the women and children staying at Visitation.

Parts Life, Inc. has taken on several opportunities that fit into the organizations STEM initiative, in order to reach the next generation of industry leaders. The Parts Life, Inc. team recently met with Patrick Mihalek at the Warbirds of Glory Museum in Brighton, MI. The museum was established to restore a B-25J back to its previous glory from the World War II period.

Sam Thevanayagam - New Owner of Philadelphia based DeVal Corporation

Sam Thevanayagam, President & CEO of Parts Life, Inc. entered into agreement with Philadelphia based DeVal Corporation. The agreement was finalized in September of 2017, and Parts Life, Inc. has now taken ownership of the 60-year-old company.

During the event, Sam shared some unique insights into servant leadership from his own leadership experience. He also explored the thought: Is tough love a part of being a servant leader?

For the Fifth year in a row, Parts Life, Inc. was proud to sponsor the 2017 Golf Outing and Business Networking Event hosted by the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA). This year's event was held at the Riverton Country Club in Cinnaminson, NJ. Members of the Parts Life, Inc. team were able to volunteer to help make the event memorable, and ultimately give back to the community. Through this event, the NDIA funds scholarships for ROTC students throughout the region.
