Moorestown, NJ - For the third year in a row, Parts Life, Inc. has partnered with Visitation Homes in Philadelphia as a way to give back to the community! Each team member was given the opportunity to buy Christmas gifts, and the company provided a meal, groceries, and necessities for the families staying at Visitation. The team went to Visitation last night to serve dinner, and hand out gifts! A huge thanks to Johnny's Auto in Maple Shade for their generous donations, and to our President and CEO Sam Thevanayagam for enabling us to give back to our community. We believe that the Christmas season is about more than presents; it's about stewardship and truly caring for those around you. We're so grateful for the opportunity to practice what we preach!
Visitation Homes provides a fresh start for families in the Philadelphia area. Visitation Homes, a ministry of Philadelphia-based Catholic Social Services, provides affordable housing for women who are transitioning from homelessness to independent living. With 20 units for mothers and their children to stay in while they begin the journey to self-sufficiency, Visitation Homes provides assistance to help the women work toward financial independence through employment, job training, and education.
