Jeannie Whitfield has been a key member of the Parts Life team since 2014. She received a Bachelors from Temple University and an MBA from Louisiana State University. Starting her Parts Life career as a Business Development Specialist, she worked to research, identify, and go after opportunities for the organization.

James has just received a promotion from Finance Manager to the Director of HR & Finance. James has more than five years of diverse experience in financial and business management positions. He spent over two years in operations at a top-10 U.S banking institution and more than four years working with a large non-denominational church, where he managed a multimillion dollar operating budget and led key capital and expansion initiatives.

The article tells the story of President and CEO Sam Thevanayagam, and his early experiences starting the company, and the name that has been created by providing obsolescence solutions to their customers in more recent years.

Sheila Harris-Adams Vice President of Government Business Development has recently been appointed as Co-Chair to the board of the Lakehurst Small Business Round Table. “Lakehurst Small Business Roundtable (LKE-SBR) works in collaboration with the NAWCAD, Lakehurst Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP) in support of Naval Aviation programs, policies, plans, and other matters pertinent to NAVAIR’s responsibilities and commitment to Small Businesses.

Parts Life, Inc. recently welcomed new hire Mark Medvetz to the Parts Life team. Mark is a graduate of the United States Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, New York. Mark has a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering and Shipyard Management, and a United States Coast Guard Marine Engineering Third Assistant License for Steam, Motor, and Gas Turbine Unlimited Horsepower.

Recent hire Ryan L. Holak is a former Captain of the United States Army. He served as Platoon Leader for 2-22 Infantry Battalion of the 10th Mountain Division During OEF IV in Afghanistan as well as Executive Officer and Brigade Preventive Medicine Officer. As an Environmental Engineering Officer, CPT Holak was also the Chief of Industrial Hygiene for the Pacific Theater and a member of the SMART-PM Team during his three years in Japan.

Parts Life, Inc. was recently invited to participate in NJMEP's Made in New Jersey event as a finalist for the Innovator of the Year Award. All honorees were chosen for pursuing innovation in research, design and production within the state of New Jersey. The event was held at The Palace at Somerset Park, Somerset NJ.

President & CEO Sam Thevanayagam has been asked to speak at the National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship Conference (NACCE). NACCE was founded in 2002 at Springfield Technical Community College in Springfield, MA. NACCE held its inaugural conference in 2003 and has held a national conference each year since.

President & CEO Sam Thevanayagam has recently been named one of South Jersey Biz's Outstanding Entrepreneur's for 2016. Sam is featured in the September issue of the magazine with an article that highlights some of his journey and experiences as an entrepreneur. Congratulations Sam!

Parts Life, Inc. recently hosted a meet and greet with Congressman Tom MacArthur. The congressman took a tour of the Parts Life, Inc. facility, then joined the networking event on Friday, September 16th. Local business owners, and key industry professionals joined the Parts Life team as they hosted their quarterly networking session.
