Moorestown, NJ - Parts Life, Inc. has been mentioned in South Jersey Biz Magazine as "Leading Experts in obsolescence solutions for the defense, aerospace, and heavy duty industries." The article tells the story of President and CEO Sam Thevanayagam, and his early experiences starting the company, and the name that has been created by providing obsolescence solutions to their customers in more recent years. "It wasn't easy for Parts Life to break into an industry faced with defense budget cuts. In the early days, Thevanayagam—a father of five—often had to choose between paying the mortgage or paying his family's health insurance just to keep the business going. "These were difficult decisions for my family, and to keep the company going, I had to put everything but the kitchen sink into it," he says.
Through sheer entrepreneurial spirit, armed with an arsenal of experience in operations, supply chain management, manufacturing and procurement, Thevanayagam not only survived but thrived. The company has grown over the past 10 years and now occupies 10,000 square feet of space in Moorestown, providing lifecycle sustainment solutions to its customers on land, air and sea."
