Cinnaminson Company Breaks Barrier into Naval Aviation

Press Release January 14, 2014

Parts Life, Inc. recently announced the award of a contract from U.S Naval Air System Command (NAVAIR) Lakehurst to assist with the manufacturing of supply equipment for the launch and recovery of naval aircraft. This contract will allow the 87th Air Base Wing to continue to expand its vital mission.

In addition to launch and recovery equipment, Parts Life, Inc. will provide manufacturing assistance for equipment required to operate and service the Navy’s aircraft. The Navy currently has over 100,000 pieces of support equipment with operational and maintenance activities worldwide. Lakehurst is the Navy’s primary location for the equipment that services all navy ship and shore-based, fixed and rotary wing aircraft.

This contract is another step toward expanding the long-term relationship Parts Life, Inc. is developing with Lakehurst and the Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JB MDL).

JB MDL is home to the 87th Air Base Wing, which provides installation management support for 3,933 facilities with an approximate value of $9.3 billion in physical infrastructure. More than 44,000 airmen, soldiers, sailors, marines, coast guardsmen, civilians and their families live and work on and around JB MDL. Base operations contribute substantially to the economy of the state of New Jersey.

Parts Life, Inc. is a South Jersey-based company that specializes in manufacturing obsolete components to extend the life of mission-critical equipment.
