Parts Life, Inc. is spending the month of May focusing on Military Appreciation. Yesterday, Parts Life Inc. had the privilege of partnering with the Philadelphia Soul in a Town Takeover for the students of North Hanover Upper Elementary School. The students got to meet the players, catch some passes, and take pictures with the team mascot. Military families were given complimentary tickets to the Soul's Military Appreciation game on May 21st.

Parts Life, Inc. is teaming up with the Philadelphia Soul, and Orange theory fitness in a military style boot camp where you will have the chance to “Train like a Solider”. The event is taking place on Saturday, May 21 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.

On February 10th, Big Brothers Big Sisters Independence Region hosted the Cooking for Kids’ Sake event. Cooking for Kids’ Sake is a tasting event featuring food from some of South Jersey's best chefs to raise funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters operations. In addition to restaurant tasting, this event featured a cash bar, auctions, and networking. “For more than 100 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters has operated under the belief that inherent in every child is the ability to succeed and thrive in life.

Sheila Harris-Adams, Director of Government Business Development was recently asked to be on the panel of the Lakehurst Small Business Round table. The topic of discussion was based around “The Importance of Market Research Meetings and RFI / Sources Sought Responses for Market Research”.

Parts Life, Inc. would like to congratulate Jatinder Singh on a great accomplishment this past week. Jatinder was recognized by the NRI Welfare Society of India (Regd.), New Delhi, and received the Hind Rattan Award. Jatinder received the award at the 35th International Congress of Non-Resident Indians in recognition of outstanding services, achievements, and contributions in her field.

Members of the Parts Life, Inc. Team gave back this week by providing a meal, Christmas gifts, and groceries to the women and children of Visitation Homes in Philadelphia Monday night. Each team member at Parts Life was given the opportunity to buy a gift for a specific mother at Visitation, and the company brought in a homemade meal, and left each woman with a basket of food for them and their children.

Parts Life, Inc. President & CEO Sam Thevanayagam was asked to speak at the DMSMS/DMC conference in Phoenix AZ last week. DMSMS (Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages) are managed by a multi-disciplinary process embraced throughout the Department of Defense (DoD) to mitigate risks resulting from obsolescence.

Members of the Parts Life Team gave back this weekend at the Food Bank of South Jersey. “Every day in South Jersey, more than 200,000 people are not sure where their next meal will come from. Of that number 35% are children who after eating at school may come home to an empty plate and 12% are seniors that are making the difficult choice of whether to eat or pay for medicine.
