Today our team had the opportunity to brief Shaefer Bagwell, Military Legislative Assistant to Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill of New Jersey’s 11th Congressional District. Mr. Bagwell advises the Congresswoman on policy matters relevant to her work on the House Armed Services Committee and sub-committees. Congresswoman Sherrill is a graduate of the US Naval Academy, retired Navy Pilot, and former federal prosecutor who has dedicated her life’s work to serving our country. As a rising influence in the House, she sits on the House Armed Services Committee and is passionate about creating and maintaining jobs in the defense industry. Our awesome interns in departments across the company, from accounting, engineering, HR, quality and more had the opportunity to sit in on the meeting and learn more about our government and how students and businesses use innovation to solve obsolescence and DMSMS issues.
