Oklahoma City, Oklahoma – Parts Life, Inc. (PLI) was recognized at the 2025 Tinker and the Primes conference after presenting to senior Air Force leadership during the highly anticipated “Tink Tank” event.
Parts Life, Inc.’s team, represented by Vice President of Business Development Jeannie Whitfield and Director of Product Chris Fest , briefed a distinguished panel including Gen. Stacey Hawkins, Mr. Joseph Fountain (Director of Contracting, Air Force Sustainment Center), and Mr. Steve Gray (Director of the 448th Supply Chain Management Wing, Air Force Sustainment Center). The presentation was part of the Supply Chain Consortium Initiative (SCCI) Other Transaction Authority (OTA) process, following approval of PLI’s white paper and formal proposal submission.
During the pitch, Parts Life, Inc. outlined its approach to developing a reverse-engineered solution for a critical valve assembly supporting the B-1 Lancer. The team emphasized its expertise in tolerancing, materials, coatings, and manufacturing processes for complex aircraft applications, highlighting the company’s proven ability to deliver precision-engineered components that sustain mission-critical platforms.
By showcasing the company’s proprietary R.O.P.E. (Rapid Obsolescence Planning and Execution) methodology and past successes in addressing the Strategic Gap, PLI demonstrated how its engineering-led sustainment solutions align with the Air Force’s mission readiness objectives.
The panel awarded Parts Life, Inc. a certificate and on-site contract to advance the effort into the prototype phase, with the goal of delivering results quickly and cost effectively.
“We’re honored to have won this prototype development contract in recognition of our mission of supporting the warfighter by solving critical sustainment challenges with speed and precision,” said CEO Sam Thevanayagam. “We look forward to continued collaboration with the Air Force with innovative reverse engineering designed to produce manufacturable technical data packages, keeping mission critical assets operational and available.”
