Moorestown, NJ – Members of the Parts Life, Inc. Team gave back this week by providing a meal, Christmas gifts, and groceries to the women and children of Visitation Homes in Philadelphia Monday night. Each team member at Parts Life was given the opportunity to buy a gift for a specific mother at Visitation, and the company brought in a homemade meal, and left each woman with a basket of food for them and their children. Visitation Homes provides a fresh start for families in the Philadelphia area. Visitation Homes, a ministry of Philadelphia-based Catholic Social Services, provides affordable housing for women who are transitioning from homelessness to independent living. With 18 units for mothers and their children to stay in while they begin the journey to self-sufficiency, Visitation Homes provides assistance to help the women work toward financial independence through employment, job training, and education.
