Expressing Appreciation for Our Customers! Donations Made in Your Honor This Holiday Season

Updated: Dec 23, 2022

This holiday season, the Parts Life, Inc. Family of Companies want to thank our customers, suppliers and partners for their efforts to improve the lives of Americans and protect global freedoms. We appreciate your commitment to making a positive impact on society. Although we are unable to give gifts to government employees due to federal law, we have made donations to several organizations that serve the military and beyond as a way of expressing our gratitude to all of our customers. We hope these donations will have a positive impact and show our appreciation for your support.

This year we supported Operation Cookie Drop at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JB MDL). JB MDL houses approximately 800 dorm and barracks residents - single service members who are new to the military and often are spending their first holiday season away from home. Operation Cookie Drop brings joy to these young service members by distributing cookies and spreading holiday cheer. We are grateful to the Spouses of JB MDL Organization who make this special event possible and bring cheer to those who are serving our country."

In addition to providing monetary support to Operation Cookie Drop, members of the PLI team volunteered to support Wreaths Across America at the Beverly National Cemetery in Beverly, New Jersey. Wreaths Across America is a non-profit organization that holds wreath-laying ceremonies in over 2,500 national cemeteries on December 17th, 2022. The mission of Wreaths Across America is to remember the fallen, honor those who have served, and teach children the value of freedom. We are proud to support this meaningful organization and its efforts to honor and remember our service members.

The values of servant leadership and giving back are deeply ingrained in our company's culture. For the past seven years, the Parts Life, Inc. Family of Companies have provided a holiday meal, gifts, and groceries to the women and children at Catholic Social Services Visitation Homes in Philadelphia. Visitation Homes, a ministry of Catholic Social Services in Philadelphia, offers affordable housing for women transitioning from homelessness to independent living. With 20 units available for mothers and their children, the program helps women work towards financial independence through employment, job training, and education.

For over 10 years, DeVal Lifecycle Support has supported Covenant House Philadelphia (formerly Sunday Breakfast Mission). Founded in 1999, Covenant House Pennsylvania (CHPA) is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year--ready at a moment's notice to offer safety and wellness to Philadelphia's most vulnerable youth. The organization is committed to building a bridge to hope for these young people through unconditional love, absolute respect, and relentless support. As the largest provider for youth experiencing homelessness in Philadelphia, Covenant House PA is dedicated to helping young people age 21 and under overcome these challenges and build a better future.

We are proud to report that this year we collected a total of 830 lbs of leftover Halloween candy for Soldiers' Angels Treats for Troops Program. The Treats for Troops program collect and distributes excess candy to local VA hospitals and deployed service members, and we are honored to serve as an official drop-off site. We are grateful for the opportunity to support this meaningful program and bring some cheer to those who are serving or have served our country.

At the Parts Life Inc. Family of Companies, we believe in the power of servant leadership and giving back all year round. While serving the warfighter and U.S. taxpayers is our primary mission, our commitment to society extends beyond meeting the needs of our valued customers. From our CEO to our interns, every member of our team understands the importance of empowering others around them and helping those in need within our local community and beyond.

"For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders.

And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6

“It isn’t that, Spirit. He has the power to render us happy or unhappy; to make our service light or burdensome; a pleasure or a toil. Say that his power lies in words and looks; in things so slight and insignificant that it is impossible to add and count ‘em up: what then? The happiness he gives, is quite as great as if it cost a fortune.” Charles Dickens, A Christmas Carol.
