We're a leader in life cycle sustainment and lifespan extension of mission-critical military assets by providing engineering and manufacturing solutions for obsolescence and DMSMS parts and components.
Founded in 2007, Parts Life, Inc. is a certified AS9100D engineering service provider, manufacturer, and alternate source supplier for DMSMS and obsolete replacement components on military systems and subsystems. Our value-added reverse engineering processes address missing or incomplete technical data needed prior to manufacturing. Services, such as R.O.P.E.® (Rapid Obsolescence Planning and Execution) and 5R® (Reverse Engineering, Remanufacturing, Recertify, Repair, Replicate) deliver manufacturable data with source approval to manufacture replacement parts. In our Prototype Integration Facility, parts and components are manufactured and tested for form, fit, and function to ensure each piece meets and surpasses OEM requirements. Our electronic, electric, and electrical manufacturing capabilities include wiring harnesses and electronic test sets.

Solving Obsolescence
& DMSMS with Manufacturable Technical Data
Parts Life, Inc. (PLI) addresses the challenge of finding replacement parts and components for systems and subsystems being used well past their extended lifecycle, such as the B-52. Often the OEM no longer exists, resulting in unavailable parts and components. Technical data and drawings required to manufacture parts is often incomplete, missing, or require significant value added engineering to upgrade materials for improved functionality. To help solve this issue, PLI has developed customized processes with diverse capabilities that provide cost-effective and agile solutions for the military to obtain these parts. The result is cost-effective life cycle sustainment support for mission critical assets.
Improving Cost Effective Mission Readiness Rates
A strategic gap exists between new and emerging weapons systems and aging systems being used well past their extended lifecycle, resulting in a shortage of replacement parts and components. PLI’s goal is to extend the life of our customer’s existing equipment, extending the lifespan of the asset and eliminates the need to purchase newer, more expensive equipment. We leverage our extensive manufacturing execution skills to provide additional procurement options that enables our clients to focus resources on program management and new system development.
